Southeast Bank PLC successfully organised the BAMLCO Conference-2026 with the participation of around 380 officials, including Divisional Heads of Head Office, Heads of Branches, BAMLCOs, In-charges of Uposhakhas and OBUs and other concerned officials.
Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director & CEO of Southeast Bank PLC, attended the conference as the Chief Guest, according to a press release.
Amitabh Chakraborty, Additional Director of the Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing Prevention Department of Bangladesh Bank, conducted an interactive session on Regulatory Requirements: AML/CFT issues.
Mohammad Mokter Hossain, Additional Director of BFIU, conducted another interactive session on TBML & CBML: Enhancing AML/CFT Compliance in Banking.
Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director & CAMLCO of Southeast Bank, chaired the event and delivered the welcome address on emerging AML & CFT challenges.
Md Mahbub Alam, Additional Managing Director & CRO of Southeast Bank, also shared his views on AML & CFT issues.
The conference concluded with closing remarks by Mohammed Rashedul Amin, Deputy Managing Director of Southeast Bank PLC.
