Mr Arif Hasan Khan has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Modhumoti Bank PLC, effective from July 01, 2026.
Mr Khan held several Senior Roles at the Bank, including Senior Executive Vice President, overseeing Corporate and Investment Banking, Risk Management and Corporate Credit, according to a press release.
He joined Modhumoti Bank on May 12, 2014, as Vice President and has since contributed significantly to strengthening Risk Governance, Corporate Credit Structure and Sustainable Banking practices.
Mr Arif Hasan Khan started his career as a Probationary Officer at Prime Bank PLC in 2001. He worked for over a decade at Prime Bank, where he led Structured Finance and Syndication.
Before joining Modhumoti Bank, Mr Khan worked at Bank Asia PLC as First Vice President and Unit Head of Corporate Assets, supervising Corporate Credit Operations across different Branches.
With more than 24 years of banking experience, Mr Khan has expertise in Corporate Banking, Credit Risk Management, Syndication, Project Finance and Regulatory Compliance.
He holds an MBA in Marketing and MSc and BScin Physics from the University of Dhaka, along with specialized training in Trade Finance, Syndicated Loans, Basel II and Financial Modeling.
In addition, he holds a Credit Skills Assessment Certificate from the internationally recognized Moody’s and Omega Corporation.
