The International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB) organised a day-long workshop on "Legal and Compliance Perspectives under Documentary Credits" at a city hotel on July 4.
ICCB Banking Commission Chair Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali attended the closing session as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the workshop participants, said a press release.
The closing session was also attended by ICCB Secretary General Ataur Rahman, Prof Dr Shah Md Ahsan Habib of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), workshop resource person and Executive Vice President of Mutual Trust Bank ATM Nesarul Hoque, and ICCB General Manager Ajay B. Saha.
A total of 57 participants from 18 banks took part in the workshop, which focused on legal and compliance aspects of documentary credits.
