Police arrested Masukur Rahman, chief adviser of the controversial e-commerce platform E-orange, in the old part of the capital on Tuesday.

A team of Gulshan Police Station, with assistance from Kotwali Police Station, picked him up from Old Dhaka around 12:30 pm based on a tip-off, reports UNB, citing a DMP press release.

Police said Masukur was wanted in multiple cases and faced 21 arrest warrants in connection with the cases filed at different police stations across the country.

He was later produced before the court concerned, the DMP said.
