China is always ready to promote cooperation with India in various areas on an equal and friendly basis, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman.
Guo Jiakun made the statement on Tuesday at a press conference in Beijing.
The statement came in response to a question on cooperation between the news media in China and India.
