Italian police have identified and released a photo of the prime suspect in the murders of three members of a Bangladeshi family in Rome.
The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Shahadat Hossain, who also hails from Bangladesh.
The Rome prosecutor’s office ordered the photo be made public on Saturday afternoon local time, hours after a Bangladeshi couple and their 5-year-old daughter were stabbed to death inside their apartment in the Italian capital.
The couple’s son, however, survived after fleeing the attack.
Anyone with any clues or useful information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest is requested to call the Rome police mobile squad on 3346903295, Italian police urged in a Facebook post.
